The Nagarhim are a race of mine I had initially created for use in a fantasy book - but, in the end, my fascination and dedication with the race overcame any plot I tried to put them in, and eventually evolved into an effort to build a race and a culture from the ground up. It’s a lot of work and has really made me appreciate everything we don’t even think about in the day to day when it comes to daily life and how things work in our society.
Here recently I’ve begun to wonder if these guys may have, in some place or time, existed. Been reading too much UPG/SPG stuff I think, but still….one has to wonder.
I have recently learned, to my delight, how to travel. For me, it is very close to the physical realm, and I have been practicing trying to go “up” and “down” the layers - it has been disorienting.
Today, I was running around an unknown city trying to visit and explore. The person whom I intended to visit was not there, as I sat, rap-tap-tapping on the wards, knocking and waiting on the front stoop for admittance. When I turned to explore instead, I ran across a river in the astral while standing at a crosswalk - the color and movement was like a wild brush streaked across the landscape.
It’s been a while, since I’ve been here and wrote something down - there’s been little tidbits of things that pass by, but nothing extraordinary enough to warrant sitting down and writing out a post. I guess it’s just time to reach into my magic hat and pull something out to talk about.
